Guignol-handpuppet 004. Guignol is the main character in French puppet show. Although often thought of as children´s entertainment Guignol is smart and sharp. He have always been appreciated by adults as well. The puppet has hand carved wooden head and hands, painted with tempera colours. Body and costume are made of fabric. Guignol is dressed in white shirt ,red bow and typical brown jacket with silver butons.
