Václav Krčál
He has been making handmade puppets for more than 30 years, initially as a hobby. His work as an author combines originality and detailed knowledge of the Czech puppetry tradition, for various types of puppets. There is an interest in his work not only in the Czech Republic (The Minor Theater), but also abroad in many puppet shows. He makes puppets for collectors and their collections. He also makes puppets according to customer’s wishes and ideas, or teaches them how to make their own puppet.
Marcela Krčálová
She has been dressing up puppets for more than 30 years. Specializing in the production of Mannequin puppets and textile puppets (muppets). She produces puppets and decorations for several puppet theaters (Pidivadlo, Dokola Tábor Theater, Puppets in the hospital). For the Czech Television show Lvíčata, she created the puppets of Lvíček and Lvice according to the design of Ludek Barta. She and her husband teach clients how to make puppets, specifically how to dress them. She also restores puppet costumes of historical significance.

Each puppet is a hand-crafted original. We do not use any machines. The puppet you choose has yet to be made for you, which can take up to 10-14 days. You can also choose a different puppet outfit or a different size. Write to us or give us a call for more information.
